With the development of the economy and the improvement of people's living standards, especially in the past two to three years, with the rising prices of gold and silver coins, the collection of gold and silver coins has attracted more and more attention. Driven by interests, some illegal individuals make and sell fake coins. So how should we distinguish the authenticity of gold and silver coins?
Firstly, look at the material: if there is a professional instrument, use it to check whether the material is gold or silver;
Secondly, look at the color: If there is no professional instrument, you can observe the color of the coin. If there are miscellaneous colors in the gold and silver coins, such as silver white on the surface of the "gold coin" coin, then it can be determined as false;
Third: Weighing. Some imitation gold and silver coins on the market have similar appearance to gold and silver. Therefore, you can weigh them. Any specification of gold and silver coin has a specific weight, such as a 1 ounce silver coin, which should weigh 31.1035 grams, or about 31.1 grams. If there is a problem with the weight, it must be a counterfeit coin.
Fourthly, depending on the craftsmanship, real gold and silver coins are generally finely crafted, while fake ones are relatively rough.
Fifth: Look at the certificate: A real gold and silver coin certificate has exquisite workmanship, clear handwriting, and obvious watermarks, while a fake one is not.
Sixth: Look at the price. If the price of gold and silver coins is significantly lower than the market value, it is likely to be fake. Please carefully identify before purchasing.
